Rebuild Status Update
It's been a while since our last update, and we wanted to keep everyone informed about the current status of the rebuild.
At the April 1st HOA meeting, the board, following the directive of the HOA attorney, decided to halt all work until the threat of litigation against the HOA is resolved. The directive specified that we find an agreed stopping point for construction, design, and planning work.
Pool and Pavilion: In the December HOA meeting, the board voted and agreed to proceed with the contract for the pool and pavilion using the original plans. Over the past few months, the committee has worked diligently with the builder and county to finalize all necessary permits before the upcoming FEMA flood map changes. The final piece was the pool resurfacing permit, and we are pleased to announce that all permits have now been issued. As soon as the legal group of neighbors drops the statements about the pool complex and/or the HOA attorney gives the all-clear, construction can begin immediately.
Riverhouse & Gym: Following the HOA attorney's recommendations, all architectural and construction planning for the Riverhouse and gym has been halted. No further work will be undertaken, and final payments will be issued accordingly.
