Rebuild Committee - Late December construction update

Late December 2024 Rebuild Update

Construction is hard at work on the pool and pavilion and is moving forward quickly, with the framing for the pool restrooms 60-70% complete and the tabby concrete fireplace finished. At our recent site meeting committee members commented on how good it felt to be standing under the covered area once again. All our hard work is paying off and we can't wait to share that feeling with everyone this spring.  The project remains on track for a Spring 2025 completion.

The Committee has identified over 550 sqft of additional pool deck space between the pool and the pavilion, This significantly adds to the already expanding deck space which we had planned for. it will provide ample space for lounge chairs and seating for our growing neighborhood.

The pool area fishing dock has been reopened after deck repairs to the boardwalk were completed

Finally, the committee has received a Riverhouse/Gym Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) draft and is reviewing it to make sure all components are accounted for in preparation for a community presentation in January.

Thank you for your support, Rebuild Commitee

As a reminder the complex is an active construction site and continues to be off limits to all residents.  Progress can be viewed from the pier or fishing dock

Rebuild Committee: June update and photos

Rebuild Update – End of May/Early June Thank you for your continued patience—it's been a little while since our last update, and we've made significant progress. Some late-stage electrical changes required by the county caused minor delays, but we’ve now completed several key milestones: Final painting is complete. Most plumbing and electrical punch list items have been addressed. Polycarbonate privacy panels were installed in the bathrooms. Grills and safety timers have been installed. A portion of the new furniture has arrived, and been inventoried and inspected. Access control systems and security cameras were installed. The pool resurfacing is complete and the pool has been filled to begin equipment testing and water treatment. Because the commercial pool equipment has been sitting idle with stagnant water in it for over two years, it must undergo deep cleaning and thorough testing. To meet current commercial pool standards, the water must be properly balanced and circula...

Rebuild Committee: May Photo Update

Rebuild May Update  We’re in the home stretch for completing the pool and pavilion! There have been significant changes since our last update, the most noticeable being the new landscaping, which is really starting to bring the area to life. The pavilion screening has been installed, and access control and security system work is actively underway. Pool pavers are complete, and new pool ladders have been installed. Inside the pavilion, countertops, fixtures, and appliances are all in place and ready to go soon. Pool resurfacing is now in progress, and crews are working through the final touches on electrical, plumbing and various finishing touches. These last steps are coming together quickly, and we’re excited to see the full vision take shape. We appreciate your continued patience and support as we move toward reopening. More updates with an opening date to follow soon!
